Alon Stivi Co-Founder

Military, Counter Terrorism, First Responder, Safety & Security, Contractor to, and certified by, DHS & DOJ.

Alon StiviIn the 25 years since Stivi served as a Combat Veteran Platoon Sergeant in the Israeli Special Forces, he has developed and deployed a broad spectrum of security and emergency response programs, and has become a recognized authority on personal protection, corporate security, school safety and counterterrorism.

In addition to co-founding Safety 4 Students, Stivi also founded Outcome Logic, Inc. (developer of risk and emergency management software), Direct Measures International (security consulting, protective operations and tactical training), and ACT Cert (interactive online security training program for school personnel).

Stivi, a Master Instructor of the Hisardut® Israel Survival System, and a Reserve Deputy with the Los Angeles Sheriff Department, has been: certified by the Department of Justice in dignitary protection; contracted by the Department of Homeland Security to provide Terrorism Responder training; contracted by the US Navy to provide combat tactic training to SEAL CQB instructors; certified as a Use of Force and Firearm instructor by Police Officer Standard Training; and certified as a Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) and Incident Command System (ICS) manager.

Stivi has trained thousands of men, women and children, military and law enforcement personnel on security, safety, survival and counterterrorism. His work has been featured on network television, radio, films, and in national print publications across North America.

Stephen Marlow Co-Founder

Technology Business, Division & General Management, Operations, Technical Marketing & Sales.

Following a 30 year career at Toshiba, Marlow retired as the Executive Vice President overseeing the strategic direction and operational performance of the $4.5 billion America’s arm of one of the world’s largest semiconductor & electronic component manufacturers. Marlow was directly responsible for 2 Product divisions, all Sales organizations, and various corporate staff functions.

Marlow has been active in local business, education and philanthropic communities for over twenty years, as a member of the BoD of the Orange County Business Council, and serving on multiple advisory board and executive committees at the University of California, Irvine. An advocate of micro-financing, Marlow actively supports Heifer International and Kiva.

Marlow co-founded Safety 4 Students, co-founded Outcome Logic, Inc., and founded C-Level Scenarios (a consulting company focused on executive success in a multinational and cross cultural environment).

CPA, Vice President of Finance, Sanmina-SCI Corporation

Mr. Harshbarger directly manages the finance and accounting function of Sanmina-SCI’s Modular Solutions Division, performing international accounting, M&A activities, managing turn-around operations, and is a member of Sanmina’s Global Finance Management organization. Prior to working with Sanmina-SCI, Harshbarger owned and operated a successful accounting consulting company.

Richard MathewDr. Richard A. Matthew
Professor, Schools of Sociology & Social Science, University of California at Irvine
Founding Director, Center for Unconventional Security Affairs

Dr. Matthew studies global threat networks and the environmental dimensions of conflict and post-conflict reconstruction and has done extensive fieldwork in conflict zones in South Asia and East Africa. He has consulted for numerous government agencies and private companies in the US and abroad.

Professor of Psychology & Social Behavior, University of California at Irvine

Dr. Novaco’s research is dedicated to the study of anger and violent behavior, especially with regard to their therapeutic regulation. His interests span a broad range of topics including trauma, domestic violence, and environmental determinants of human stress and violence.
