Alon Stivi, CEO

Stivi is S4S’s visionary and safety & security subject matter expert. Following his service in the Israeli Special Forces, Mr. Stivi has become an internationally recognized leader on security, violence prevention, counterterrorism and travel safety. He has provided security consulting, tactical training, and advisory services to both the private and public sectors.
In addition to an extensive list of high-profile corporations and individuals, Stivi has worked with elite military units as well as federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
Stephen Marlow, VP & Treasurer

Marlow is a technology industry executive with a history of successfully implementing and scaling operations in accordance with strategy and performance. After 3 decades of service, Marlow retired from Toshiba as the Executive Vice President overseeing the strategic direction and operational performance of the America’s arm of one of the world’s largest electronic component manufacturers.
Since leaving Toshiba, Marlow continues to provide advisory support to various community, business and educational entities in Orange County.
Dr. Raymond W. Novaco, Executive Director & Secretary
Professor of Psychology & Social Behavior, University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Novaco has extensive expertise on the assessment and treatment of anger with a variety of clinical populations, including those with a history of violence. He pioneered cognitive-behavioral therapy for anger, coining the term “anger management.”
His research, publications, lectures and keynote addresses have received numerous awards and recognitions, and he has consulted for mental health, correctional, military, and human service agencies in North America, Europe, and New Zealand.
Dr. Novaco is a Fellow at the American Psychological Association, and a member of; the International Society for Research on Aggression, the British Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapy, and the British Psychological Society.

Dr. Richard A. Matthew
Associate Dean for International Programs; Professor, Planning, Policy and Design, and Political Science, UC Irvine; Director, Blum Center for Poverty Alleviation; Director, Center for Unconventional Security Affairs.
Dr. Matthew studies global threat networks and the environmental dimensions of conflict and post-conflict reconstruction, and has conducted extensive fieldwork in conflict zones in South Asia and East Africa. He has consulted for numerous government agencies and private companies in the US and abroad.
Dr. Matthew is a member of the Expert Advisory Group, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).
